You have a couple of performance shops right around you in Shediac, so I would start by contacting them and asking if they have any expirence with rotaries. If not, I know Redshft is having a motor built somewhere in Ontario which might be you closest place.

If you do decide to send your engine out, I highly recomend Rotary Dynamics(.com). Contact Jim or Darryl, you will be 100% satisfied with the quality of their work.

No. If you have a Rotary around here, you are sending it away.
There are a few shops around that think they can work on them, but save your money and your time.

I'm having a new engine built for my track car right now by RPM Motorsports in Ontario. Don't have the engine yet, but been a good experience so far. The price of having an engine shipped down freight isn't that bad. (couple of hundred $) so it's not worth the headaches of dealing with anyone locally, unless you learn to do it your self.

If you don't want to send it away you can probably do it yourself... it isn't that hard. I think I told you an approximate price before for a DIY job. You'd have to count on the car being off the road for about 2 months, but if you get all your parts together before hand and there are no surprises you could possibly have it back on the road in under 1 month. The harders part of the rebuild is making sure you get all the carbon out of all the little channels where the seals go.

I don't know when i'm headed up to NB next but I do have to go sometime because I have a bunch of stuff in Moncton. If you are going to rebuild it yourself let me know and I might be able to drop by and lend a hand for a day or something.

There are a couple performance shops around but as far as i know they don;t have experiance with rotaries. And Craiger thanks for the offer but i'm not sure how soon i plan on doin a rebuild.. probably not for a while and when the time comes i was planning on porting it so i don't think i have the resources to do that myself.
