RHD CYM spotted

I spotted a RHD CYM R1 several times in the morning around 8:45am on Major Mackenzie & Leslie Street, Markham, going west. Belong to anyone aboard here?

Nice CYM, by the way.

I don't know if its the same one or not. I saw him again on Saturday again, at Leslie and 16th Ave, Markham area. I was driving a Mazda3 that day, and the CYM driver is an Asian.

^ That should be him, from the tail, its exactly the same. Nice shot.

I don't recall rims are like that, as he was driving and the rims are spinning when I saw him. This place is First Markham Place.

Thumbs up, nice CYM, but I guess the owner of this CYM not on board in this forum.

Was that what Mazda called that color. Was that a stock color. Or is it red
What about FD ? What is that referring to?

Yes, it was a limited edition yellow paint for FD's; rare car; ever rarer in LHD. I think it was only done in 93, but I might be wrong.

FD is the body code of the 3rd generation RX-7.

SA/FB is the first gen.

FC is the second gen.

FD is the third gen.

The thread is about a RHD car. He was referring to that car, not the one owned by Mazda.

I saw a black FD the other day that was southbound at Leslie and Elgin Mills. I was like, "wow...a nice pretty girl was driving it" but then noticed it was a RHD with another driver. Now I have to do a double-take to make sure I identify who the driver is because my brain still tells me that in Canada all drivers are on the left side!

I have yet to see a woman drive an FD here in Toronto.

Ha! I got the comment last week on lakeshore. I was headed home and a guy pulls up next to me in a hoodless 240 and says "Wow, I've never seen a woman driving an FD" I told him there was a first time for everything. . . .And carried on. So there are a few of us. . . .
