repairables?

repairables?

i heard before that i could buy "repairable" cars from junkyards, fix it up and drive it legally on the road.....true?
what are classified as repairable?

It takes a lot of work and money to get a car with a brand back on the road. Hell, my car wasn't branded, but had something else against it. On the ownership, it said UFT or something like that. Can't remember where on the ownership paper, cause I don't have that paper anymore, but a new ownership. But basically, it means the car is unfit for the road. Its not a brand, but if your car has this on its title, you can't buy ANY kind of plate for it before it passes a safety. Not even a 10 day temporary plate, so you have to tow the car to a mechanic. Kinda sucks since you don't notice it untill you go to get your temp plate to get your safety done.

yea i know that....
i know mechanics...
i jus wanted to know if it was true or not...and where i can find those "repairables" cuz i can get some cheap cheap tuner parts
