I am just so happy to finally have a day or two to work on the pig. I installed new front wheel spats, headlights, radio, data logging, a wickerbill, balanced it out and cleaned it up some. The car looks great, runs great and has me totally frustrated in that the first time I will be able to run this on track is the mid September BEMC Weekend. I am thinking of bringing it up when I am instructing at the Time Attack NAtionals mid August, just to get a few laps in, but I am pretty much travelling straight from next tuesday until the thursday before the weekend, so we will have to see.

Anyways, the car is so completely back in my good books, that I am officially changing its name from "The Pig" to "The Beast". So from now on, this car will be "the beast" and the Cougar becomes "The Pig".

I actually moved my garage ornament from the back of the garage to the front last night, and started the re-assembly of the engine. Didn't realize how much I missed it until then.
