removal of fb emission controls
anyone in Calgary off Monday or Tuesday and willing to lend a knowlegable hand in removing my rats nest. have the instructions, but would rather do it with someone who has done it before. really want the engine bare as possible

Nice engine bay! I wish I was in Calgary just so I could see it up close. Is your rad etc chromed or 'bare' metal with clear a high temp clearcoat?

It's pretty easy, especially if you have Rx7Carl and Pratch's tutorial. If you have any trouble with it, PM Rx7Carl, Pratch or myself. Just make sure you have brand new vacuum hose to use, and all the materials beforehand. I was too lazy to find someone to make the ACV blockoff plate for me, so I ordered mine from racingbeat.
Taking the old nest out is tricky... but not that bad. I found that it was much trickier to take the carb out with the rat's nest IN than it was to remove the nest, so that was one of my main reasons for removing it as soon as the safety guys had finished looking at my car
