relay
Where's a good place to get a relay for an e-fan? In a moment of weakness for which I plead temporary insanity, I went to Crappy Tire looking for one. They tried selling me a flasher (as in a car turn signal). That's 10 minutes of explaining to them that I didn't want my fan to turn on, off, on, off, on, off; that I'll never get back.

If you want cheap, Princess Auto has them for about $3.
If you want good, then head to a real electronics store and look through their catalog of Omron relays. Find a relay with at least 30A DC rated contacts, with a 12V coil, that is sealed and weatherproof.
The relays that Canadian Tire and most other auto parts stores sell are cheap pieces of junk. Even if it says "BOSCH" on it, I personally think twice about purchasing ANY autmotive spec relay for any critical (fuel pump, headlights, e-fan, etc.) application.
