Well in random news, 2 rx7 came into the shop the past month and now there are up for sale. One is a 86 GX with T2 swap and a 90 GXL with T2 swap. they are both for sale. DONT BUY THEM. they are not safe to put on the road in any shape or form. there is no chance in hell they could pass a safety, bent frame rails, rusted out under carraige, the ability to reach to the elbow into the under body due to rust. all in all they are a parts car and nothing else. i just dont want someone to buy a car and realize they are a death trap. we were afraid to put the cars on a hoist the rust was so bad, so just a heads up to anyone that is looking at them.

Just incase anyone looks at this forum right now:
Red Aura and myself are getting together in Regina for supper or lunch THIS saturday May 24th. Location: So far, Likely Red lobster (Seeing as I'm bumming a ride in with my parents likely, I decided it would be HOT to get a lobster supper out of the deal )
Anyone else in? Red Aura and my RX7s will not be in attendance that evening, but we'd love to see everyone elses.

Wow, this place has been crazy dead. My latest news I am currently disassembling the FB to get it ready to be sandblasted, then the cutting and welding of the rust can start. I will keep everyone posted.

if you got a S5 T2 that your looking to sell, PM me. I might settle for a S4, looking for a project car doesn't have to be in great shape, just running shape, preferably lower kms on engine.

Hey boys. Just found out about this site. I've had Rx-7's for 16 years now. I'm wondering if anyone has either an 84 or 85 GSL-SE with grey interior for sale. It doesn't need to be running, as I just want a decent parts car with a complete interior. I have a black and gold 85 SE with a 90 TurboII powertrain. My interior is stock burgundy and I'm looking to swap it out for grey. Please, any help would be well appreciated.

Thanks for the props L-Spec. A lot of time, effort and money went into it to make it look that way. When I take a decent pic, I'll post for you to see. So, how many other enthusiasts are on here, anyway? There doesn't seem to be much traffic on here right now.

Unfortunately, no it's not very active, just a question. Is anyone in Regina parting out an '84 or '85 GSL-SE? There are some parts that I would really like, I've checked wreckers here but because of work schedule I haven't been able to look out of town yet. If anyone knows of something please let me know. Hey everyone! I bought my 7 about four months ago(from L-Spec) and thought it was about time I posted in this thread. I love driving this car and have thrown quite a bit of money into it. Just done simple mods like replace the dented hood with a CF one, clear headlights, short throw shifter, Exedy OEM replacement clutch and pressure plate, etc. Anyways here are some pics, let me know what you think...

wow looks like i started a GSL SE trend. OMG turbo motor in a gsl se you should totaly pm me and we should meet up for a ride. i would love that. i had a gsl se long story about what happend to it. the turbo 2 swap is almost done i just need to install the new fuel pump and radiator and turn the key

sorry for the double post but guys does someone have the intake piece that comes off the front of the turbo for an s4 motor ALSO does anyone want to buy a GXL limited slip rear end and half shafts and tranny if so let me know

Just letting everyone know that it looks like my 88 TII is going on the block; I have a 2005 350Z (I know, I know...pistons) coming from the states so the FC will be moving on.
The car has 170k, and is reputed to have a j-spec engine with about 60k on it, which may or may not be street-ported (going by what I was told when I bought the car 3 years ago). Since getting the car I have made many upgrades to it; partial list follows:
-Ported S5 turbo
-Greddy Profec B Spec II boost controller
-Pillar pod with boost gauge and afm gauge
-Rtek 1.7 ecu
-Viper 720cc secondary injectors
-BDC (Brian Cain) modded, ported and polished throttle body
-HKS topmount intercooler
-Racing Beat 3" turbo back stainless exhaust
-FD fuel pump
-SPEC Stage II clutch
-Tokico blue shocks
-Couple of other little perks like custom neoprene seat covers, Kenwood powered sub & Sony xplode speakers, JVC (I think) head unit, custom leather steering wheel cover, aftermarket shift ****, etc.
Body is good; has a bit of surface rust on the lower front corners of the doors, a spot at the lip of the sunroof and a spot inside the A-pillar on the passenger side
I'm currently running a conservative 10psi boost; S5 turbo with the ebc hooked up spools very quickly, throttle response with modded throttle body is very sharp. A wideband to ensure proper mixture would allow boosting to about 12 psi on this turbo; I haven't pushed it because I didn't have wideband available. Mechanically the only glitch is a grind in 5th gear (very common on these trannies) which is pretty easy to get around with rev matching. Most of these mods were new last spring, including the clutch, which only has about 5k on it at this point. The car hasn't been dynoed, but I've been told by others with a lot of FC experience that it should easily be good for mid-200's whp. Who knows, I just know that when I tried to drive it once this winter (on dry pavement on the highway) I couldn't keep it hooked up with the all-season tires - squirrelly right through 3rd.
The car is in Moose Jaw; if you're interested or know anyone who is, call Gerry at 692-8932. I haven't set a firm price, but I'm hoping for around 7k.

well guys i have some good news and some bad news. good news after 2 years my t2 swap is done bad news the 2500 rpm hesitation has began. the long battle with the common problem. any of u have this problem after swapin?
