rear wheel bearings CALGARY
anyone know where to get rear wheel bearings, collars, and spacers here in calgary
ive tried a few parts stores an its like kicking water uphill, and even if i get to the top of that hill they cant supply the spacers
the one dealership i called seemed pretty clueless an ill be surprised if they call back
need parts ASAP as im pretty sure the noise i hear is my axle being held in by the brakes and not only does that take the warm glow from my heart but it is addin a warm patch to my pants

drive down the road... take a left or right hand sweeping turn... if the noise goes away on one side then its that sides bearing... if it gets louder, might be the opposite side, if it stays the same, not bearings... IMO
other then the above mentioned, call Ray at Malloy Mazda in the states, see if you can get a part number, bend over forwards and call a local dealership...
I'm amusing this is for a FD

You can take the bearings and races to Bearing and Tranmission (Called something else now). Its across the street from the big bucket car wash on pegan and barlow. As for the other parts, if you can get part numbers, go see Leslie at sunridge mazda. Make sure you get part numbers though. She hates looking through microfiche.

leslie at sunridge mazda ftw, she got me hooked up for monday
tried adam but couldnt actually get ahold of him in time to find out if he had em before i missed the shipping window to get the parts thru mazda
its definitly the bearings, at least thats one problem. in fact im pretty sure the only thing holdin my right rear axle on is the brake caliper.

A piece of advice for people coming across this thread is to pull the bearing out, read who makes it (its cast onto the bearing), open the phone book (or google), find a dealer and get the parts direct.

yup got what i needed, and the mega bonus of finally gettin rid of the horrible noise i was hating. the downside being i can hear all the other problems now, and somehow screwed one of me rear calipers up in the process of swappin the axles and the ebrake isnt releasing properly. had to get under an pull the lever back with a screwdriver. not entirely sure how or what i did but i havent had a chance to check it out yet.
also for you fuel economy types i gained 5 kph in my stoney trail downhill neutral benchmark with a vicious crosswind, i imagine i gained closer to 10.
to any who care to try it, north bound stoney trail, as you crest the hill at the sarcee junction, get it to 110 an pop it in neutral. by the time you get to the beddington exit you have a benchmark of sorts for your aerodynamic drag, as well as improvements such as wheel bearings, wheel sizes, alignment etc. Works nice for me since its the way home. 125 kph is where i was at today
