ON It was really was snowageddon

We all know how the toronto media blows weather story into end of the world scenarios.

Well anyway, I was down in Mexico last week. On Friday at the resort I decided to call my Sunwing travel rep just before we left for the airport at 11:00 am and was assured it ok to leave my hotel. I was willing to pay the extra day or two and should have, because people we meet from Boston and New York have had their flights cancelled the same morning.

After being stuck in Cancun airport for 12 hour, Sunwing cancelled our flight for that night and bused the full plane of passengers to a few resorts a hour away from Cancun. 3 hours sleep, a quick breakfast and back on a bus to the airport for our new 11:00 am flight. The flight finally got off the ground around around 12:30 pm because one of the three buses were late getting back to the airport. Finally got home at 7:00 pm last night to 2+ Feet of snow in the driveway and 4+ feet at the end of the driveway. Call for a plow which is coming this morning (no way I could clear it by tomorrow for work, see pics)

Anyways a plug, if you are planning to go to Mexico and want a very relaxing small hotel with amazing service and personnel. I would highly recommend:
THE BELOVED HOTEL PLAYA MUJERES

I need some meat yesterday, and the oven was going to get the taste I was looking for.

Haha
Yesterday after the plow showed up and cleared the worst out of my driveway, it still took me 2 hours to clean the sidewalks in front. What a mess to come home to after 30 hours of airport & travel time WTF.
