hey guys. u know if the opp still use radar detector detectors? thinking about getting a radar detector. if they do, what kind of fines do they dish out if someone gets caught using a radar?

If you want to get a radar detector to use in Ontario, I would recommend an undetectable radar detector. Something like a Beltronics STI Driver.

If caught, and you will likely get caught. Your looking at about a $200 fine + 3 demerit points. On top of that your fancy detector will be confiscated.

Oh and legal fees if you choose to go that way.

Cheaper than in NS - fine for radar detector is $1000, plus confiscation.
