I just paid around 400 shipped to my door on a Koyo all aluminum rad. Good investment I say. But if you do go with a stock replacment rad get one from an s4, it is thicker than the s5, just makesure it has the top mount filler.

the aftermarket rad didn't work out ...apparantly the bottom fitting was wrong and they didn't want to "McGiver" it in .....so I'm back to square one , but with a new thermostat and cap

i'm interested in an al-aluminum that fits into the s5 ....... nismo , where did you get the Koyo, does it fit without any modifications?

I got mine from www.absoluteradiator.com they have the dual flow as well, you just have to ask. They are good guys over there, shouldn't have any problems with them.

As for installation, I know there is some modifications to the fan shroud if you are using the stock fan, they supply the mounting hardware other than the the frames that you take off the old rad and bolt on.

thanks to you both .... I'm really interested in upgrading to the aluminum.

1. do they ship USPS or is there a huge shipping ripoff
2. whats the dual flow all about ?
3. would the new rad cap and thermostat i got work ok with the Koyo ?

Yes they ship USPS, but you get dinged on taxes, but it's still a pretty good deal.

The dual flow as I understand it allows the coolant to circulate the rad twice, so it cools better.

The t-stat is not dependant on rad shoice, so yes you can use the new t-stat, aswell as the Cap, so yes you would be ready to rock and roll.
