I'm hoping someone in Ontario can help me out.

I'm in the process of purchasing a RHD FD that has been imported from Japan to Canada.

I've seen a few posters on here who have RHD cars and I'm wondering what exactly you needed at the ministry to register your vehicle.

The car has not yet been registered anywhere in canada, it has only just been imported. The car has a bill of sale from whomever the importer purchased the vehicle from in Japan, as well as an approved Form 1 from customs.

Is this enough to register the vehicle, or do I need a title/deed signed over to me as well?

Two things before you need to go to MTO, insurance, and safety. Good luck! I know 2 people where given a hard time from the MTO, especially in Brampton. I would suggest going to one in Scarborough as they deal with all of Tiger Japanese's paperwork.

so this is wat u need
u need the white form .... from the customs which says that u paid ur taxes ahem ahem
u need certificate of exportation... translated in english by AITO... if it is not done by them they wont take
safety or emission sayin that the vin number of ur car has been approved byy xyz mechanic
since rhd vin numbers are not 14 digits i guess

i know a japanese translator.. he will charge u like 80 bucks or so and will do the export form translation
