Wondering if any Ontario resident(s) recently purchased a car from Quebec and registered the vehicle in Ontario? (considering a 2003 model year)

1) What paperwork was needed from vendor in Quebec?
2) Does one pay Quebec provincial tax + GST in Quebec? And later need to apply to get the QST money back from the Quebec provincial gov't? How many decades does a refund take?
3) How does one determine if any outstanding Quebec (or other) liens exist on the car prior to purchase?
4) What other major headaches are involved either on the Quebec side or Ontario?
