Proud new Owner of a White 1987 FC TII!

Someone says "Initial D" and I'll slap 'em.

Pics tommrow. It's too late for pics now.

Got it from JonD (Forum name) and he was a pleasure to deal with. Test drove it on Tuesday (and found out it's been way too long since I drove stick ...... waaaaayyyyy too long) and finished the deal on Thursday.

Anyone think it's ricy to put LEDs in the interior foot wells? The car isn't very bright in the pitch black. Was out there last night with a flashlight testing out the audio deck :p. Interior is blue so I was thinking of sticking with that. Or maybe a nice red to clash.

And why is it that Canadian Tire (aside from the obvious reasons) can't:

1) Cut keys! (The one downtown Toronto at Bay and Dundas ish)
or
2) Sell pedel kits with Clutch, Brake, Gas, AND DEAD PEDEL!!!

Seriously though, this FC had so little rust. All of it surface except for the underbody. But even that was just a small part of the frame (a 3*3inch section and nothing load bearing). Original Paint (unfortunately ... it shows too...)

As I said pics tommorow after a nice wash.

A few things to fix: Passenger side mirror, intermitent wiper switch, passenger side headlight motor, and power steering hose at the front of the car.

3rd gear syncro is starting to go, but that's normal for most cars (it's always the first to go). Double Clutching here I come again ...

Ripped out the back interior and cleaned it all out. Found some change, broken glass, and screws. Even found the hing for one of the storage containers, that was a real plus. First thing fixed and it only took 2 seconds.

Found out my battery is dead. Good thing Jon gave me the warrenty information and it's got 2+ years on it. PartSource isn't too far from me either. Just hope they are open when I need them. I don't get it though, she was only left for 3 nights in my driveway. And it started just fine the night I got it. My neighbour had to give me a boost today and luckily my nerves are eased because it's just the battery.

Have some pictures but she's still dirty as hell on the outside. They're too big for Image Shack. I'll either wait until I clean her or resize the pics. (Not procrastinating, just trying to do the easiest thing).
