Prepping for Storage and rebuild

Hey guys, this will be my first winter with my FC. What are some precautions I should take before storing my car? I plan on doing a rebuild over winter if that makes any difference.
Also, what would be some precautions you would take before doing a rebuild?

if your pulling the motor just basically fill your gas tank and throw a bit of fuel stabilizer in it, and maybe go to the wash bay and give underneath the car and wheel wells a good pressure washing get off any mud and crud thats stuck in there

toss a bit of oil in the rotor housings, to keep them lubed up, and crank it over every few weeks

Kind of a Hard call,If you are gonna pull the engine.
I don't know if the gas would just be "a waste Of good fuel" seeing that you are not going to use the car until the engine is Up and running again. You never know if anything extraordinary will happen.(ask me,I know!)
Suggestion: www.aaroncake.net has alot of tips on Storing and maintaining an rx7..(Lots of Good info there.)
Personally,I would just throw a Gallon or Two in,with a shot of Stabil,as you never know How long the car will be down. You can always Top up the tank with Fresh gas when you need it....I just Can't see a Full tank of gas that will not be used within a reasonable amount of time.I Would use the Money from that Tank of gas and actually Fill my Running car..and worry about the inoperable car when the time comes.( the time that the car is Ready to Start up).
regardless,good luck with your Rebuild.STYX.
