Pilot Bearing Removal

does anyone in the GTA have the mazda pilot bearing removal tool (or any removal tool that works) that i can borrow. I have two engines i that i need to get pilot bearings out and i hate grinding them out lol.

if you live near a Part Source, they have a universal pilot bearing removal tool you can rent for free ( just leave a credit card deposit ).

pack it with grease and get something that fits tight in there and hammer it out

I've had limited success with that method because the Mazda bearing is a real bearing, and not a bushing. Much of the grease just squeezes out.

Either use a real blind bearing puller which makes the job last only a few seconds, or spend 30 minutes with a Dremel to grind it out.

Well if you don't have the bearing puller it's certainly worth a try before trying to grind it out.
