Is it a metallic colour you're spraying?

What temperature we're you spraying at?

It is either:

1. Too Cold
2. Too Thick
3. Not shaken enough

Are you spraying out of a can, or out of a for-real sprayer?

It sounds like you need to use a faster reducer.

I'm assuming Paint Circuit supplied your paint. I'd be surprised if they didn't give you the appropriate reducer for the temperature you're spraying at.

The only other thing I can think of is your gun is set improperly. If you sprayed a high solids primer and didn't change the settings on the gun you probably have to back off on the trigger adjustment when you spray your base coat.
