Just checking if people wanted to cruise up for the Montreal end of season closer.

I believe its September 25th.

We can meet at a timmies before heading out.

We can meet at Tim hortons @ southkeys as its easiest for everyone to get on highway and head to montreal.

Starts at noon, Saturday sep 25th .

So we can leave Ottawa at 9:00 am cruise there, enjoy everything and head back for evening.

Hi all.

You are cordially invited to our annual (7th Edition) end of season hot dog meet of the Quebec RX Club 2010 . . . . The biggest and the best end of season rotary meet in Eastern Canada.

Last year’s meet saw 60+ cars from Quebec and Ontario. This year’s goal is to have even more cars.

The meet is sponsored by TECHNO-CONTROL / MAZDA CANADA / BOURASSA MAZDA

Location: On the company grounds of:
Techno-Control Cybernetic
3470, des Entreprises Blvd.
Terrebonne QC J6X 4J8

It’s 15 minutes north of Montreal and the directions are easy to find using your GPS, Google Maps, Map Quest or other.

Date: Saturday September 25th, 2010 (In case of rain, it will be postponed to Saturday, October 2nd, 2008).

Time: 12:00 (Noon) to 6:00 PM.

Parking access on Techno-Control grounds will be reserved in priority to rotary-engined vehicles, but there is tons of parking in front as well as on the sides of the building.

The meet is open to all Mazda RX cars and other Mazda car clubs (rotary wankel engine or other, Ex.: NSU ???)

As usual, hot dogs, chips and beverages will be offered at the price of $2.00 or more per article (the "more" is on voluntary basis).

We will have:
Continuous music;
Surprises for our club members ;
Raffle parts for our cars
Karting at the end of the day

Note: No beer will be tolerated no exceptions and the Highway Code must be respected (no burnouts, no donuts, no revving of engines, etc...).

It's all a question of insurance and good citizenship . . . and furthermore we don’t want you to have an accident or other misfortune.

Talk about it with your friends in your car club and make it a club outing !

RX7 Club Fall Meet Sept 19th

 

rx7 meet...where we all show up in our daily's LMAO.

If you move it to October I'm down, only because Sunday the 26th is CSCS and I don't want to drive from Toronto to Montreal and not stay the weekend. Got it

 

Me and a bud (It's Fun) may be able to make it. We look forward to meeting everyone. Oh and by the way if it gets postponed we apparently have to travel back to 2008 :p

 

My football championship game is this saturday, so I'm out.

so is there gona be a meeting spot in ottawa anywhere. other year we used to mee at the princess auto parking lot, now a yamaha deal but princes moved behind there. any suggestions as to where to meet up?

im thinking same area if there are any locals attending.

 

is there a link to find out it its postponed or not? I dont want to get there and find out it's cancelled. Im going solo or with a friend.

Looks like I'm out guys

I've got to rebuild one of our company's exchange servers tomorrow. Damn work. If I wasn't afraid that it would self-destruct in the next 24hrs and destroy half our company's email I'd definitely go.

And it sucks doubly because my friend Joel who's all the way out in Halifax was going to let me take his 7 to the meet so I'd actually have a rotary to show up in!

14 straight hours later I finally get home from work. I'm half done that exchange server stuff. Brutal weekend.

Hope you guys had fun. On the bright side, I did get to *drive* an rx7 today. I picked up my friend Joel's from the mechanic. It had a full set of ReSpeed poly bushings installed all around. Along with the RB Springs and KYB shocks it's got a pretty solid ride now. Just have to fix the steering, the seats, and a few odds and ends like replacing the ricer shift **** and e-brake handle the previous owner put on.

I wish there was an easy way to remove stupid cheap purple tint film. The previous owner put *that* on too, all over the rear hatch glass and quarter-glass. It sucks.

But yeah, hope the meet was awesome!
