Ottawa! Calabogie Race Weekend. Now!
For all the Ottawa Rotax Peeps that now spend their nights at M&M, or playing Gran Tourismo Whatever on their PS3!
Why not take the nice tour up to Calabogie and check out some wheel to wheel racing!
Calabogie is a great track.
There is racing Saturday and Sunday.
Entry for spectators is usually free.
Come see the only rotary powered car in our series! We talk the talk, and walk the walk.
After racing we build a giant fire, drink beer and talk Rotax!

Running 3rd out of 18, after starting last, we blew our turbo with 2 laps to go.
Lots of damage to the compressor wheel, one tooth of the turbine was missing, turbo shaft was broken and the turbine wheel itself ended up in the muffler.
We didn't have our EGT logging hooked up, but we suspect the cause to be ultra high EGTs due to excessive backpressure cause by the mega-muffler we need to run to conform to Calabogie's uber-
sound restrictions.
We DID build a huge fire and drink lots of beer and hobo sherry!
