OPINION- bigger rims on an FC
quick question.
stock it came with 15's was wondering if i could move it up to 17's
running a 7"tire upfront and a 9"tire in the rear.
model - sportmax 006, with a red lip.

They're great looking rims, and with the right offsets they should work, I would just be concerned about weight. Since you say you had 15's stock, I'm assuming you're NA - and I always caution NA owners especially about big rim-tire packages - they may look cool, but the added rotating mass, and the distribution of mass in a larger wheel/tire combo, makes a noticable negative impact on rwhp. If you're satisfied with that trade-off, np, but you should be aware of it. NA's are slow enough stock!
Regardless of what size you go with, I would really encourage you to buy as light weight a rim as you can afford; try to keep the rim weight below ~17lb.
Of course, if you've done a turbo or LS-1 swap or something that gives you big torque and hp, you may not care about losing 10-15 hp at the wheels

LOL I know exactly what rx7racerca is talking about! Once I went from the stock rims to my 17" 5zigens, it made the car noticably slower.

Those were 17x9 in the rear and 17x8 in the front if I remember right.

I'm running some 17X7 Rays engineering Gramlights. Can't say i notice a big difference since my rims can be picked up with your pinky hehe
You may need to run a spacer on a rim with a crazy enough offset but like said if you don't care about a huge weight then who cares.. unless you're willing to spend a bit, finding a real light rim might be a little trickky!
