Hi all, if you were getting your car painted blue, would you get the exterior door and bumper moldings painted the same colour, or just leave them black.

Just looking for opinions.

If you want a clean look, either remove them or leave them black. If they aren't in good shape buy new ones. The door guards always look silly painted body colour, in my opinion.

 

the problem with shaving them off is the bumpers.... they were formed with the trim shape... so even though its easy to de-trim the car, the bumpers will not match and from what i've been told they are a bitch to try to sand out (they start ripping into chunks and pitting)

In any case, follow your heart but use your head lol... good luck!
