ooooooo yaaa
went to do emissions on the gxl today. its premix so on about an 1/8th of a tank i skimped on the oil by a fair bit, and added 1 gallon of methyl hydrate. and drove to the place.
and heres the results...

no split air pipe, no cats. i was iffy on it pasing but i fugured id give it a chance, it was warm but this is why im saying it needs tuned bad. ill probably be contacting the wird soon. some friends of mine say they can smell me at the red lights when there infront of me lol.

she pass last time with none. but this time its premix and its running real rich, and im sure running "racing only" 2 stroke oil doesnt help lol, but i think i could manage if i had it running right.

i tuned it down to about 280 on the hc ppm idle running alcohol with very little premix (everything else was close too). then i added 2 cats in line, stiffened all my gas out, filled it with $20 of 91, added the 1gal of methyl hydrate and ooo so gingerly drove to the test.
when the guys did the test on it they were so surprised by the drastic change that they kept running it for a bit after it passed just to see what it could do. i wasnt very happy about that but i was overly glad that i made it pass. when i got in the car to leave the temp gauge was at 3/4
went and filled all the way with 91 and added enough premix for the hole tank.
