Very cool.
Good to see my former car being put to good use. Also good to see the engine I built is being abused at the track and holding up flawlessly.
any issue with fuel dillution in the engine oil?

And the neon tubes under the car make it look like it's hovering at night! Originally Posted by Cheers!

Damn thanks for the breakdown on the car. Thats all I need for my FC, a 330 shot of NOS should make me faster than the FD. Why didn't I think of that before, LOL.
And to think that Dolan is going to put a V8 in his, silly man.

2 Rotor PP, sequential trans, and moton suspension.
Back from when there where 5 rotax cars in CCTCC.
He didn't race it this year.
Yep, sadly, now we are going V8. The rotax and all the subsystems required to keep it running at our powerlevels, just wasn't reliable enough. Especially for endurance racing.
Banned. I got OWNED!!!
Looks like a good time,
and Jo, I can only guess that Casey picked the colour of your wheels! look awesome! lol

Yup. Might not see a regular rotary contender next year at all....
That three rotor is insane. Brapp..... Revs so fast. I hope the bugs get sorted out and we get to see it out next year.

I will be running the GT Challenge Series next year. We are planning on running the RX7 in the 2 - 3 Hour Races and the Cougar in the 1 Hour Races. We are still battling with a creeping detonation issue with the RX7, this year it only showed its head after 1 hour of running and we were limited to under 7,000. We are also going to add the 3 way adjustable Morris Damper shocks and finally a Turbo II brake setup. The car should be on the cusp for GT3/GT4 and still cheap to run.Originally Posted by IAN

For the 1 hour races, the Cougar is much easier to drive at the limit. The only thing that kills that car for the 3 Hour races is fuel cost. It uses a tank of 110 octane an hour and at $300 a tank, I just haven't got past the choke of over a grand a weekend in fuel alone. Oh yeah, it also tends to eat gearboxes and I haven't had a single box live past 2 1/2 hours yet. Maybe the rebuilt Quaife dog box will.
So there will be a rotary running, just not all the time. Who knows, maybe Al will bring his out again if he can get his tranny eating issue worked out.

Nice. I will be at the races but unfortunately just to help with the"V8" rx7 team. Been looking at the logistics of my own track car and the expenses is just to high. (I do have a nice car that I bought to build into a race car. Picture in the above post. White FC but didn't want to cut it up) Currently going to do the sigma time attack series and all of the clubonetwonine lapping days. And then concentrate on other hobbies as well as invest into my childs educaton fund................
