New shop, new projects

Just a couple 7's we've been working on lately. I don't really have that many pics of the fd. I'll post some more once the car goes for tuning in the spring, it's been put away for the winter. The 2nd gen also belongs to the same customer.

The engine is street ported with new housings,rx8 shaft, resurfaced and hardened irons.
The turbo is a t88 which will most likely be swapped out in the spring for something smaller, hence the delay in tuning. The customer hasn't quite decided whether he'd like to switch it out yet. He bought the car with a complete setup on it. The only things worth keeping were the rad, turbo mani, turbo and exh. We built a new ic and piping along with the eng. He's running a pfc and would like to track the car on weekends.

We also installed an msd 6al in the arm rest. Works well. I'll try to post some finished pics later.

Also fabbed and installed a guage pod.

Here's a pic of his 83' that we started working on this week. I'll post some more shortly as we've already made some progress.

MSD in the armrest! Install a cup holder over it so it will keep the coffee warm.

Haha, never thought of that one. Actually the car was running for about an hr and it doesn't even get warm. Glad to see your car is still getting more mods.

One of many little things to come in the spring. The customer's focusing on other things right now.

Is that a magnetic TIG torch holder? If so, where did you get it or is it something you made?

Haha, that was the last question I would have imagined. You can get them at princess auto, I love that thing. Especially since I use the thumb control and it's easy to trigger it and get a flash with it sitting on the table.

Shop`s looking great man! Its great to see that all your hard work is comming together. Must be a little different working in a shop that holds more than two cans of beer. lol Whatever happened to Mike`s car. If you find the time, send me some pics.

P.S. Are you attempting to build another banana car? lol

No, there can be only one Banana car!LOL. I'll post some pics of the fb's engine bay soon, it's almost done now. I was wondering where you've been Marc, glad to see all is well. Mike's car is fine, just needs some more goodies installed. Definitely nice being in a bigger shop and having more equipment.
