New to Ontario, and Canada for that matter! Road Racing?
Hello. I am from the states and recently moved to North Bay Ontario. You can see the list of cars I have in my sig. My S5 Turbo is my track car, where do you guys race, and are there in RX clubs in Ontario.
Thanks for the help!

Yes, yes and yes and welcome! We race, there are RX Clubs in Canada, the only issue is that its a bit of a tow down from North Bay to get to any of the Toronto area tracks. It may be more interesting for you to look at events at Calabogie. You can go to the Motorsport Club of Ottawa to see what events they put on or go directly to the Calabogie Race track website to see what lapping days they offer. There are a number of very quick RX7's in the Ottawa area, though the fastest one runs a (cough, cough) LS1.
Actually, I just checked on Google earth and its 3 1/2 hours from North Bay to Calabogie and only 3 hours and 20 minutes to Mosport. Mosports your home track and they have lots going on for you.

You may want to give him the link to the MCO club as well. They have to have members up the North Bay way.

videos, photos, records, etc. Small tracks, time attack style races, but lots of good competition, classes for all makes and models, and tons of fans at each event!
Question: Do you own ALL of those fc's??? Or like, are those just the cars you've owned over the years...
oh, and welcome to Canada!

Welcome! I don't know of a formal RX-7 club in Ontario (there are Mazda gatherings), but this is where we all hang out on the internet.
There are a number of racing leagues – I went to track school with CASC-OR (Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs – Ontario Region) who officiate Time Attack and Road Racing events: Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs - Ontario Region | We've Got The Place To Race

We're looking forward to the opening of the Canadian Motor Speedway in Fort Erie in 2015. I've visited Toronto Motorsports Park near Hamilton many times and also Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (formerly Mosport). Shannonville is much farther to the east and Grand Bend Motorplex is to the west.
P.S. I am imagining a convoy of flame-spitting FCs heading up the interstate and across the border...

Hey, welcome to the club and to Ontario! I know there are a few rotary guys around North Bay and I venture up that way a few times a year. No one has mentioned yet about Sigma Time Attack events. If you're into time attack events I highly recommend this series. Always a good turnout of rotaries and tons of fun!
Good Call!

These are FC's I currently own. The S5 Turbo is here in Canada with me, The GTUs is currently being painted and will be up here this spring. The rest are either in Pennsylvania or Texas in storage.
