New Effort In CASC SoloSprint in 2011
2011 CASC SoloSprint Effort
Nummelin Motorsport Group is pleased to announce that in 2011 we have come to an agreement with Mark Clyde (Maverickflyer) to race our #23 RX7 in CASC Solo 1 competition, targeting the Closed Wheel Modified Class. Mark Clyde has some years of experience on-track lapping, but this will be his first time in timed competition. Present plans are for a limited schedule in 2011 with the primary goal of gaining knowledge of this side of the sport and to build on his existing strong capabilities.
The series runs events at Mosport Driver Development Track, Mosport GP Track, Shannonville, Toronto Motorsport Park and Calabogie Motorsport Park. The format of the Series is a CASC sanctioned Time Attack style series which also includes testing sessions during each event. Nummelin Motorsport Group will also be coaching and working with Mark as he takes this step into motorsport.
Further announcements on sponsorship and other events will take place as the details are finalized. Information on the above, as it is finalized, will be posted on the team website.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact Eric Nummelin or you can go to the website at;

The car will also be used in 3 Hour Enduros and as a backup to the Cougar in the 2011 CT Challenge Series.
