ok my 6port turbo is fully done up.....but the thing is it wont fire up
basically what the mechanics are telling me is that the fuel pump is not getting any power but when they manually adapt power onto it it fires up
they checked the fuel relay sensor and everything and its fine
for some reason it doesnt start with just the key
i thought about linking an external power switch onto the pump but the mechanic says thats not the thing....and said something that i forgot.....
lol could anyone help with this info or do i need more specific info from the mechanic?

NO you can fix this ... there are 2 relays for ur fuel system ... one in the engine bay beside the trailing coil .. and one under the dash on the driver side beside the powersteering box ....check the conections there i had a simalar problum
Your multimeter is your best friend. Check your grounds for 0 ohms. In a car that's been around, there's a good chance your connections have corroded. Start at the fuel pump, check each connection for volts and resistance, work backwards.

AFM plugged in?
As mentioned, if you check the Factory Service/Haynes manuals, you can find the locations of the two EFI related relays. The main EFI relay is labelled as "main relay" and located behind the trailing coil. If it is bad or unplugged then the entire EFI system will be without power. The 2nd relay is under the dash to the right of the steering column. It controls the fuel pump. When you put the key on "IGN", the pump should prime for a few seconds and then shut off. The ECU relies on a signal from the AFM to start the pump again after the engine runs.
