Hey guys I am finally almost done the full swap.
Nothing to fancy just an s4 to s5 swap. I bought the S5 for next to nothing and gutted it and swapped it into the 86 S4, everythings going great, Yesterday I got it to run and idled perfect. Now I am having a bit of problems with my turn signals, hazards, and blower motor.

Now what happens is when I dim and raise the brightness of the dash the turn signals are the ones lighting up and well the turns dont work and the hazards. Also everything else seems good but the blower motor does not turn on either.

Now does that little FC12 CPU control the hazards, turns, and blower motor (HVAC) if so I think its screwed up and where could I get another.

I am so close to finishing this swap and if I do I will be able to drive the car to its first meet after 4 years lol. Thanks guys for the help appreciete it.

Does anyone have an FC12 CPU from an S5 please. If anyone knows who has one also or where to get one thankyou very much. This is the only thing from holding back the swap getting complete.

the unit sits at the divers side kick panel lower left area beside the fuse box. thanks again guys.

Wow not one reply, someone has to have something for this. Any help, a nwew one from Mazda is 230 and itll take 4 o 6 weeks to come in, no rex at meet. That sucks lol.

 

You'd probably find your answer if you ask the question in the 2nd gen section. Most people use the regional sections as a mini-lounge.

 

Well, that and putting more detail into your subject line would help. "A little help" isn't very specific on what you are looking for.

 

The little help is this module not working,
I detailed all the things that are happening also, I have done everything to eliminate this problem and it keeps coming back to this module so thats all I am trying to say.
