So after being outta the rotary game since jan last year when I wrote off my GSL-SE, I'm back in a seven again. Nothing like a rotor, I gotta admit. Went out yesterday to winnipeg and picked up an 87 GXL, with a rebuilt mild street port, and a 2.5" exhuast from the manifold back. Enuff talk, heres it on youtube:

ZOOM ZOOM! What do you plan on doing with it?

 

I plan on doing a TII swap over the winter, fixing rust, some vert rims, S5 tails, and doing suspension (maybe some coilovers), I want to build the car for time attack, drift, but still keep it drivable daily.

 

Hahaha. It's nice to hear you're back in the rotary game. You'll have to make the trip out to Winnipeg for the next Mazda Meet. I'm not sure when I'm gonna plan it. Maybe sometime in the first half of July. Keep an eye on the Winnipeg RX-7s thread for details.
I just picked up my 4th FB, in the three years I've had my license, this past Saturday. My minty '85 S got written off on the 13th day i owned it but MPI was nice and gave me $800 more than i bought it for. I bought it back for $875 and am going to swap the motor and trans into my '84 GS that decided to blow the front rotor after a week of driving it this year. Lol.
I just bought an '85 GSL for $1000 and its gonna be my daily driver/autox/summer beater car. This year started out on a bad note as far as RX-7s are concerned.
