I think you can fit 275s on all four corners under stock sheet metal from what I can remember, drool.

The ls1 would only be possible in a RWD version.

Maybe it's more an effect of the weight, but he did comment on that. It was after driving his racecar and my car on coilovers and R's with manual steering though.

I'm not putting a GT40 on it.. I'm going to keep it with twins, probably twin GT28RS' aka "double disco".
yeh the disco potatoes are good for an easy 380 whp @ 9psi just a simple bolt on it is a very good alternative....1 draw back is aliitle reversion causing lte trottle stutter i am sure you can live with it...

How could you say such a thing??? Besides the rotary, the Nissan RB series engines are the holy grail of japanese engines.

Nice car by the way Terrh. Hope you get that engine built up nicely.

Sexy FD , Pure Rotary. I can't wait to get my hands on one. I was close to buying a Skyline GTS-Type M, but decided to spend some money on my A-Z licence and then bought my FB. I kinda sorta regret it, but I know it was the smart way to go.

I find the novelty of GTS-t 's wear off quite fast. But the GTR is quite a machine. Im thinking of getting my hands on a 1994 or 95 GTR in a couple years. But its more of just a thought.

Yah I could never decide between the FD and the GTR so I had to get both!
GTR's are tons of fun... I'm on my second one now.

Good luck with it!

The R35, the NEW GT-R, is what made me buy a Mazda RX-7...

if it was a manual, I would have one right now. instead, I have an RX-7.

bastards.

One thing that bothers me is that they call the new GT-R a 'Supercar'.

Could this be considered a raising, or lowering of standards? Can a Lamborgihini now be considered simply a sports car?

The question I urge you to discuss, is:

What defines a Supercar?

hmmm, well the fact that in testing the new GT-R is lapping around the Nurburgring in the 7:30 range, that is seriously supercar territory if you ask me...

yeah the new gt-r is posting times that are faster than the porsche gt2 and carerra gt (gt2 is faster). The carerra btw beat the ferrari enzo on track at british car tv show (i cant remember the name of it, top gear maybe?) where they were testing it. the Pagnini Panoz (sry if its spelt wrong or totally off) was one of the fastest 'supercars' they tested if i remember properly - which went in an order similar to this .... panoz, carrerra gt, enzo (and the mercilago ahead or behind the enzo, cant remember).

i also wish that new gtr came out with a manual transmission or a sequental manual transmission (mechanical not electronic)... im not a fan of wires, computers and technology they just dont agree with me and decide to not cooperate at the most inconvient times.

on a side note im playing with the idea of getting an older skyline just for the track after my fd is all built up and driveable

Porsche Carrera GT is considered a supercar, but a Porsche 911 (Turbo/GT3/GT2) is NOT a supercar. Well, the 911T/GT2 is borderline. Some consider it, some dont. I dont.

Back on topic, what defines a supercar? what makes a supercar?

A Good Read. Or a Penny for your supercar thoughts.
