My New RX-8

So I purchased a 2006 RX-8 Shinka Edition with 22k on it. I`m really enjoying it. I`ve attached some pictures. The colour is Copper Red Mica which I quite like. Apparently it`s one of 300 made for this colour (1500 total). I don`t have any pictures of the interior, but the seats are a two toned leather/suade material combination and I think pretty cool. The body is a bit rough for the age/kms, but the price/colour/milage was right. The handling, steering and feel is incredible. The engine sounds pretty cool above 7k. It's very thirsty, I think perhaps even more so than my old TII!

In case you're wondering and haven't heard of it, Shinka is japanese for evolution or something similar and yes it sounds pretty lame. It's essentially a GT model with a few minor cosmetic differences, the two tone seats, self leveling xeon headlights, slightly better shocks, front cross member is filled with foam, etc.

nice buy man. I really like the shinkas, especially this colour. the seats look so badass with the red stitch and red dots in with the suade. its very nice indeed. note that not only shinkas have the self leveling xenons. all GTs (which all have xenons) have that.

What's wrong with the body? Looks pretty straight to me? Doesn't look like anything a good detailer couldn't make perfect.

you should stop by my house and we'll give her a nice detailing ... I plan on buying more detailing products hopefully this month also.

We'll probably have to do it over a few days if its in a pretty bad condition. You should take a few shots and post them up.

Here's a few shots of my car last year detailed to give you an idea:
