I wish, just snowed like crazy a few days ago.
That pic was from last summer afaik. I haven't seen the car in person yet but was told it's been stored and hasn't seen winter. Here's hoping its a as good as it looks.

Sorry to dissapoint. I call it that because that's what my wife labled my last car as i spent so many late nights with it in the garage. It was an 86 mustang i built a blow through twin Turbo system using nothing but junk yard parts to see if i could do it.

Yeah, it has the infamous dowel pin leak, and once I got it running I found it had massive vacuum leaks. The previous owner didn't fix the leaks and just messed with the carb settings until it would idle. I eliminated the rats nest which in turn got rid of the vacuum leak. Tuned the carb and it runs really well now. I tried some Stop Leak for the dowel pin and attempted to drill into the offending o-ring and inject gasket maker to stop the leak. It didn't work though, maybe I was off of the o-ring a little but I am not certain. It also seems like they dyed the dash to match the interior as I attempted to wipe it down to clean it up and the dye came off a bit and now my dash looks streaky.
The exhaust is leaking at the header as one of the bolts is snapped off too. So there is a few things it needs badly but the worst is the rebuild to fix the dowel leak. So now I don't know if I want to rebuild the 12A, or look for a TII engine trans to replace it with. I do know that it needs to have a power adder in it one way or another.

Went with a friend of mine to picknpull and found a Brullen exhaust grabbed that for 28.00 so wasn't a complete loss. BTW there is a 300zx there with the VG30ET in it complete if anyone is interested. I should have pulled it but didn't feel like it lol.

Sorry I should say a Brullen muffler. Sadly no rx's there, but just up the street there is a towing yard that has what looks like a targa sitting in it. I tried to go in but the yard was all locked up.

The 12A is a very unispiring engine lol. Went for a drive and took it all it had to hit 160.....downhill......with a tailwind.

Easier and cheaper to drop a v8 in then to do a TII swap

looks like I am either going to flip this car and look for a different one, or build a blow through on the 12a and see what happens. Prolly a lot easier then the last one I built.

I built a fully operational TII swapped FB for under $2000. It would smoke the tires off in 3rd gear. Its a relatively easy swap, if you want details, PM me. I've done tons of 13B swaps into 12A FB's.

Yes, I wanted to see if I could build a functioning twin turbo and not buy any "kit" type parts. Of course I had a high flow fuel pump, a boost reference FPR and a BOV, and a wideband air/fuel meter. But the meat of it was whatever I had lying around. Ran it at 7lbs of boost untuned until the #8 ring caught and cracked the piston. If your interested here is the link to the build. Some pics are missing.
