these events are always great and the venue is a great big parking lot.
i'll be at a few of these, i think i'm going to sign up for the Autocross school this year.
hope to see some of you there. we should organize if a bunch of people are thinking of going.

 

I've already got my MCO membership and I'm signed up for the school. I'm all set for a summer of autocross

Ok, here it is, the long awaited 2007 MCO Autocross Series schedule! None of these dates have been confirmed by the Scotiabank Place yet, but it’s after the Sens finish up, and they don’t conflict with anything in their posted schedule, so we should be okay. I’ll be changing the dates from “Tentative” to “Confirmed” once I have a contract in hand.

Confirmed - Saturday July 7th - MCO Autocross School - Scotiabank Place
Confirmed - Sunday July 8th - Event 1 – CADL Hosts 2007 IPC at PMG

Confirmed - Saturday July 14th - Event 2 – Scotiabank Place
Confirmed - Sunday July 15th - Event 3 – Scotiabank Place

Confirmed - Sunday August 5th - Event 4 – Scotiabank Place

Confirmed - Saturday August 25th - Event 5 – Scotiabank Place
Confirmed - Sunday August 26th - Event 6 – Scotiabank Place

Tentative - Sunday September 9th - Event 7 – Scotiabank Place

Tentative - Sunday September 30th - Event 8 – Scotiabank Place

Tentative - Sunday October 14th - Event 9 – Scotiabank Place

All are point scoring events. The series will be scored on all the events we can get minus 3. So if we can run all 9 events, your best 6 events will count toward the series championship.

Location: Scotiabank Place (Corel Center) in the North East lot (#9).

9:30am - Registration and Tech close
9:30am – Novice Course walk
9:45am - Driver's Meeting
10:00am - First car on course
5:00pm - Awards Presentation (East Side Mario’s - 651 Terry Fox Dr Kanata)

Competitors are advised to arrive early as registration will take some time to complete.Registration will close at 9:30am sharp!

$40 Non-members
*Loaner helmets are available for $5

i ordered a helmet from the states and it is taking it's sweet *** time to get here...what the hell do they do to packages at customs? a 100-point inspection??
guess i will be renting again...

 

I'll be there for sure. I'm set to come back from Nova Scotia on Saturday, so I'll get a good night's rest and be there sunday morning.

Sucks that I missed the first three events... but as long as I don't miss another one I'll be okay. Well this is my starter year so I don't expect much out of it anyway as I get used to autocrossing.

just a note, 2nd last event of the year this Sunday.
it will be a big event, there's an inter provincial thing going on. so if you just want to check it out instead of competing, this would be a good time to come out.

 

ill be there sunday morning for some rides, then need to go to work before 11
