motor mounts??
i am pulling the engine on my 87 T2 and its going to go get ported and rebuilt what should i get for new motor mounts?? or do i need new ones? haha i would like new ones it shouldnt be making too much HP i want like 260+ at the wheels...anyone got any ideas?

the Hard motor mounts,like solid poly-urethane will give you Noise,vibration that will go through the mounts,into the frame and eventually up to your Butt!
although the Stock mounts are Good at preventing Vibration,I looked at mine when taking out the motor and wondered How the Heck they HOLD a motor under Extreme driving!..and this was on an N/A!
Get a GOOD set of aftermarkets.(I wouldn't trust a Rubber sandwich on 250 HP..not after what I saw!).

i used hockey pucks and quite satisfied, straight through bolts stops the motor from moving much and the harder rubber did dampen the vibration enough for me.
