What a great day - really good showing of RX's - fantastic weather and plenty of laps - just need more HP for that long big hill.....

 

It was a lot of fun! Probably the only time I will ever lead an entire field of cars at Mosport! (lol) It was amazing how long the line of cars was! At one point we almost caught the back of the field! We were entering turn 2 and the back of the field was in turn 3. I think we should find a way to do something for Bruce Mills who went out of his way to organize it. He was in the pace car with me and said he didnt want it to be like other event pace laps that were just a slow cruise. We were doing about 140kmh up the back straight and the last 2 laps we took it to just over 160kmh. I think Bruce did a great job and it was much appreciated.

 

Thanks to those that organized this! I was there last year and will be there again next year if it happens. It was a lot of fun until my rear axle nut came loose and my wheel became wobbly. I won't be taking the car to that shop again...

Awesome time. Big thanks to Bruce, Al and all the organizers from BEMC.
It was fun to hang with all those turbos and new rx8's with my old miata on winter tires.

You were not holding me back at all. Evilrotor was playing with the E8 as we were driving around the track so that took some of my attention staring at what he was doing

Ian, you were there??? I showed up in the nissan while you guys were lapping.

 

Yup I was there.

Put in 12hrs on saturday and 5 hours on sunday. I had to leave right away after the lapping since I was not even supposed to be at mosport on sunday

You gonna do any track days?
