Mini Photoshoot of My FD

I finally convinced my wife to take some pics of my car with her equipment. I hope you like them. I would love to do some more pics in an industrial type setting and with multiple FDs. If anyone is interested may be we can organize something.

I am impressed

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful subject.
Your car is the icon of what principles should be followed when "putting together" an FD.
You have my compliments and admiration.

Looks awesome Charn. You can really see the colour in these photos. Can't wait to see it in real life.

Thanks for all the great comments.

It feels really nice to share some images considering I have had countless hours of viewing pleasure reading other people's threads.

Some more disappointing news is that some schmuck has already tried to break in to the FD. I have some nice scratches on my brand new door handles as a parting gift. It is alarming since the car has mostly been on the driveway since I got it back. I will be installing some cameras on the home in the next few days to try and create a deterrent.

I am also seriously considering making some powertrain changes, so if anyone is interested in a proven super low mileage 13B GT35r setup let me know.

Let me know about the setup when you decide to swap.

if they tried and failed to break in, it's cos they don't know what their doing. Even if you've never seen one before just by looking at the door design it's obvious there's a major flaw in the security department.

It really bothers me how it doesn't even take any tools to break into an FD without damaging it. it's like, why bother even locking it. My new FD is going to have some modifications to the door to make it /much/ more difficult to break into.

Going the v8 route like everyone seems to be these days? It's so tempting. I have been seriously considering putting an LS1 into my 10AE.

Nah, although tempting I am going to stay rotary. Like I have said previously I hate turbos. My favourite seven for pure driving pleasure was an N/A FC. I am scared to even type what I am thinking as I can feel the vacuum attached to my wallet already. But I am considering an N/A 20B swap. 300 to the wheels with no turbos is what I would want.

As far as security goes I agree that a professional can take any car. (I represent a few) But hopefully some added measures can eliminate the punks.

Damn! I can really see the colour now! Nice shots!!

I hate punks who try to steal/vandalize other peoples properties. There's that vid of the Afrian security measures. Light them up!!!

20B for the win!! :

Car looks very sharp and those wheels definitely make it unique and semi-aggressive. An NA 20b would definitely be a different animal but isn't it too soon to start thinking about engine swaps? lol

I guess, but I figure I will get most value for my current set up now while someone can experience it. I can only afford to do it if I get the right amount for the current goodies.

I will get back to the people that showed interest here and via PM when I have time to sit down and make a spread sheet of exactly what I would be selling.
