-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

August 6th - Holiday Monday, you all have it off again!
Grip events are before drift because the track gets pretty messed after drift.

8-12 will be grip ONLY
cost: $65 per car, 25 for a second driver. Pre Paid
Limit:25-30 cars

12-5 will be drift only
cost: $75 per car prepaid
Limit: 30-35 cars
There will be a tire change station setup with a compressor, impact, ramps and jack for faster/easier changes.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Im going to allow 50% deposits. balance due at track.

You can of course sell your spot at any point in time.

All events are RAIN OR SHINE. I really enjoy the rain days, they really test ones skill and you can learn a lot.

All Vehicles MUST be safe.
Any car i deem not track worthly will not be allowed on the track.

Standard rules:
No passing except on straights. Same as the highway:
Pass on the left ONLY after receiving a signal from the vehicle ahead.
Vehicle being passed pulls to the right and slows until passed.

Helmets are required. you can buy one for a couple hundred bucks new, cheaper used.

If you have no track experience you will be required to go for a ridealong with an experienced driver.

please show up before the events begin. It takes time to setup and im sure you want as much time on track as possible.

Prices have marginally increased this time because i opted for insurance this year. I took a huge risk last year.

Prepay is a must this time. There was too much chaos last year with people just showing up. we had 42 cars at one point.

12 cars on the track MAXIUM at any point.

dead slow speed in the pits MANDITORY

and of course at all times please show consideration for the other drivers.

Please post any questions, comments or concerns.

signup will be posted as soon as i get a website going.

Thanks guys
Looking forward to a great 2007 track season.

p.s. I am looking for someone to make me a website.
I am offering a free season to anyone that can make me a site and arrange hosting and what not. Nothing amazing, just simple and tidy.
Please PM me if you are intersted.

Cool. With luck hopefully I'll be able to attend at least one this year.

Or you could do one session and then do sky diving (they have it a few hundred feet away, I did it last summer).

The love Is STILL there Jon, It's just that Dip always posts for me to sticky his threads (In his thread titles), rather than PMing me on It.

I don't think these are RX7 only events. Derek drives a Nissan - if they were RX7club exclusive, we'd need to kick his *** out!

You would kick me out? EXCUSE ME!! your the one thats closest to getting booted there punk... you make sure you bring a broom next time.

the events are not limited to the rx7 club, if you have friends interested, please bring them out.

Im looking in to timming equipment (transponders), but depending on my budget it will most likely be a stop watch and some time doctering my make my times the fastest and jimmys the slowest...

***UPDATE*** I have convinced U2N Dyno to come to the track for the season opener.
so before or after your session you will be able to do a few pulls on the dyno to tune or whatever. I will post up the price list on that as soon as dan sends it to me.

See you there on May 21st folks...

Pricing will be as follows...

Option A
$60 for 2 baseline runs, wideband o2 and one printout
$25 per additional pull (so that you can test-and-tune-and-test again)

Option B
$100 for unlimited access to the dyno (in 2-pull increments)

Hows that for some awesome dyno pricing!?!

Please remember to bring you lugnut keys...I use a Dynapack dyno which means your drive wheels must come off.

If this was an rx7 only event he would go bankrupt. LOL. Three rx7's may show

How's that for taunting..............

I'm going to try and make it out. It's a bit of a drive for 3 hours of track time but watching some drift afterwards may be interesting.

Really? Cool. I will make it a point to make it to at least one. The most I've ever seen was about 6 at shannonville.

Insurance for event?

Is it alright to run a car that does not have insurance?

It’s road worthy just not insured. The car in my display picture.

Just wondering when is the last date we can pay for an event (ie: How many days before the event can we hold of paying)?

Also I am concidering to get into drifting but have never done it before... How much of an interference will I be with my stock 12A powered FB lol? I might just stick with grip for the sake of me sucking at driving. (still pretty noobesk in performance driving)

I'm in weather my FB is ready or not. If not I'll bring out the DD just to see what I can do. No drifting for me though, especially if I have the DD as its a slightly underpowered FWD. I've sent you a PM dip.

no_name: because of what i experienced last year with payments, the only thing holding your spot is the payment. So the sooner you pay, the sooner your spot is guarenteed.

as for the drifting, there will be a mix of all different skill levels. A 12a will be fine to learn with.

Thanks to those of you that have already signed up.
as for the rest of you; spots are starting to fill up quickly.

I have changed the july 15th drift day to a grip only day as there has been zero expressed interest in drift thus far.
