Planning a little cruise.

Aug 3rd to 7th.

Basically around 1500km drive.

Driving along Georgian Bay (Nottawasaga bay etc) and staying at Bruce Peninsula National park.

Taking the MS Chi-Cheemaun ferry to the Manitoulin Island and drive around the whole island.

After which stop off in sudbury and drive the thirty islands lake front through parry sound and hitting up the wassaga beach area etc.

So far there is my brothers (on bikes) and a couple of friends.

And on the rotary side only around 3 cars. (Still pending.)

Ya it will be a long cruise. Plan on just chilling and taking in the scenery and local spots etc.

I'd be up for it but is the date confirmed? It's a little close to MOTM aug 11.

 

Might be down....going to have to verify some other plans that are aroudn that date.

This will be more of an actual cruise, rather than a "race". Of course there will be fun bits, but I want to see the area, not speed through it trying to keep the car on the road.

Well I bought a car today and I would have loved to drive a nice long leisure cruise with it. Unfortunately family birthdays mean I can't make it. But sounds like a great cruise. Take lots of pics.

Yeah, I got sick of looking for 3rd gens. Although I still plan on picking up a 7 when the time is right. I bought a 91 BMW 850i. I have made a few friends in the BMW community since I bought my other car, which has made me alot more comfortable with the BMW brand.

But like I said this would have been a great cruise to enjoy the car. Oh well...maybe next year.

I need to fix the ignition prob, and tune, the tuning is the worst part.

 

Mike, I know you like CYMs but I was only looking for Silver or Black. But like I said I am still looking.

 

I like the rarity but I guess it's not for everyone. Back on topic: I am definitely looking forward to this.

 

Depending how busy I am, I'd definatly be up for a long cruise like this! The RX-8 will be ready by then for sure!

if I'm in the country (not quite sure when I'll be back from japan/philipines) and done recovering I'd love to tag along.

I'm out for sure, just got my shift schedule, looks like I'll be on nights that weekend, unless of course I get a new job.

So who is going. Going to make plans this weekend. Book camping site etc. So far I will only book spots for a few people and am wondering if I should book for others since alot of times people do not show up. Don't want to be stuck with paying for camping/rooms if nobody goes!
