I was wondering if you could lend a helping hand and recommend a rotary tuner who can dyno tune a Greddy Turbo'ed RX8 w/ Microtech. Any feedback would be great!

 

Only place i know of with a dyno and tunning capabilitys is DL Motorsports in Burlington. He mostly does Supras but has done a few 7's.

 

Might be some guys at Rx8Club.com with experience with the Greddy turbo on the rx8... I don't live close enough to TO to know of dyno tuning places tho.

I'm interested to hear a little more about the setup though....What Microtech? How are you controlling all the variable intakeness on the Renesis?

 

I am a member of the RX8 board and one of 2 tuned Greddy Turbo'ed RX8's in Toronto as far as I know.

I had tuning done by Paul at Neetronics this past August with the blue emanage that comes with the system. Because of the emanage, there are extreme limitations. With the stock greddy setup, there is no ignition timing, no control of variable intake ports.... We still managed to hit 267 whp ..on his clayton dyno at 7.8 psi.

I am currently looking to upgrade to a Microtech setup. Mazsport in Florida has modified a Microtech ecu (don't know which one) with a plug and play harness to work with the RX8. I was hoping to find a specialty rotary tuner to work on the tuning this time around.
