I'm looking for the blue paint Mazda used to use on air cleaner housings and so on under the hood - I understand the colour is called Impulse blue and is paint code AY (feel free to correct me). I want to paint the valve covers for my daily-driver 6, so I'd prefer engine enamel - I figure probably someone here has used it for housings or other under-hood bits. I'm wondering if anyone knows where it might be found - Canadian sources preferred; I can probably get some mixed by a body supply shop if there's no retail source. I tried Canadian Tire and AutoValue (Calgary's Bumper-to-Bumper equivalent), no dice. Not even the similar Ford engine light blue.

 

Your correct, CARQUEST can probably mix you up a few cans not sure if their in Calgary, Alberta
