99 Type R....slightly modded
Picked her up at the shop in Calgary and first things first, gotta get that engine shot
after getting her registered she went straight to another shop to get the GPS smartstart system/pioneer NEX5000 installed that i got, which amazingly despite being 2 hours late getting in was finished in just in time for me to pick her up and bring her back to the hotel with me
the next morning i got up bright and early (read 10 am) and started the long 800km trek back to fort mac
she was a little dusty and had some paint marker from the long trip by sea, train and truck she took to get to Calgary
The next day i took her to my work and cleaned the paint marker off the windows and figured out why the headlights don't work, but the hoist was being used so ill have to wait till next week to winterize her
Im going to drive her the rest of this week if I can (snow dependent) as this weekend is supposed to be above zero and sunny here so I can clean it properly then get it up on the hoist to do an oil change/coolant flush and service the dif and tranny. Plus i plan on doing some strategic undercoating on certain parts with some Rust check primer and lubeing the joints up to keep them from freezeing up over the winter. Then on monday i am going to reluctantly hang up the keys for the winter
