What day guys. I am getting excited about getting this car on the road.
Nismo: Whatever I need to get Fabricated is not a problem. We just have to make a template and then I can bring it to work to have the guys form it in whatever I need.
Also, The hole is in the frame in the wheel well behind the wheel. Hestly you guys will probably think it is not bad at all. The only way it was found is because the mechanic used a hammer and a screwdriver to check this particular part of the frame and the screwdriver broke through. So all of the holes are generally the size of the screwdriver. I would never have seen it otherwise because visably it looks fine. I will try and take some pics of some of the issues.
I can get whatever size steel we need. It is going to probably be a 2 evening repair for all or most of the issues, with the Main issue being the frame.
Is anyone up for helping me out next week on thursday evening?

Next Friday is the BCM, see top of thread for details, I will be getting ready for it, so the following week is likely better for me. And yes it will likely be a 2 evening thing.
I'm pretty sure what the mechanic did is a huge no no, if there are no holes you can not make holes. Pretty much like drilling a hole in it, even if it is cheesey you still can't poke and prob at it. can you take a picture or two of the area?

ok so not this thursday comming up but the next Thursday. That is July 29th.
ok So i live at 981 Edinburgh Rd S Guelph ON. I will provide some beer and some BBQ and we can start on the revival of the car. I will pick up some steel from work as well as the mig welder. And don't worry I will pick up a couple of different gauges of steel just in case. And I will take some pictures as well so that you know what we are dealing with later this weekend.
Buggy, Nismo, does that work for you.
Let me know. Thanks again.

Maybe I should bring the car to you guys. If you guys are down in the same area. Maybe that makes more sense.
It is possible that I could borrow a car trailer and a truck to get it down to you guys. I mean you guys are helping me out quite a bit.
