Just out of curiousity

What kind of recorded max horsepower has been taken from
A: an n/a
B: a 2-rotor
C: a 3-rotor
D a funny car

Just been curious on how many ponies we can get from a rotor motor. and possibly how this was acheived.

you missed a zero on the funny car. IF we are talking about for-real-top-fuel-funny-cars (the ones with pistons)

Oh, and a PP NA done properly will be closer to 300 hp.

Ya I've heard of PP N/A 13B's approching 400HP at the wheels on pump gas.

Mind you at that point, your a bit radical to be on the streets.

I believe Dyson Rotary in Australia put down over 1000hp in a turbo 13B. I can't remember, but I think someone had even more.

The old IMSA spec road racers with 12As, carbs and air restricters made up to 330hp. Basically each one of those peices of info detract from peak power.

I've heard stuff on 12k+ rotaries used in various applications, so I have no idea what the real n/a 13B peak power is/was. I've heard of 400hp drag cars as well.

Why don't you just do a search for dyno sheets? If anybody knows of such cars, it's most likely through this forum
