I was watching "My Classic Car" on Speedvision last night and the moustache and Leno went out driving in a pristine Cosmo.

The sound of the engine wasn't overly muffled, and you could really hear the popping and wide open throttle sound that is still the sound of the engine today. Pretty neat stuff.

I think I may have caught it a minute or two in, I probably missed the best part; when Leno takes some time to describe the car to the host.

 

ya i saw that too! I was a little upset though, cause he swapped out the orignal 1 litre for the 12a I wonder what the orignal motor sounds like?

Beat me to it...I captured the video and have been meaning to post it...I assume it has not yet been posted?

One thing caught me by surpise though was his power estimate from the 12A. He said "somewhere near 200HP". Well I didn't hear a bridgeport nor was it peripheral ported so I think my response would be "Show me the dyno!".

PLEAZZZZZ some of us are not cool/rich enough to have anything past 4 challenls and sometimes it really sucks...... like now when i never got to see hte Cosmo
