Important question

For insurance reasons i need to get an accurate idea of what my car is worth and how much you would pay for said car, if it were for sale.

my car...

1987 RX-7 GXL
118,000 kms
2 seat, leather (no rips or cracks) red interior.
Cruise
A/C (fully working)
5 spd
Moonroof
absolutly mint paint (factory color: Tornado Silver Metallic)
Power windows
Power mirrors
Theft Deterrent system
Limited slip diff
Auto Adjusting suspension
4 piston front brakes and 2 piston rears (with new pads)
15" rims (stock)

105 psi compression of both rotors on original engine

I have more pics, but i don't have time right now to upload them (56k)

So how much do you think it's worth (in Canadian dollars)

i think 5-7K$ would be an asking price range ..... but its only a few special FC's (some verts, 10AE, etc.) that are sold over 5K$ , and the FD's well over 10K$....... you'd be lucky to get 4K. ... that would be in ontario .... and manitoba form what I've seen

When my first 86 GXL was written off in January 2001, my insurance company valued the car at $3500. This was based on the Red Book and calls to area Mazda dealerships. My agent commented at the time that this amount was a little higher than what they could have chosen.

I doubt that the list of features you've posted will influence the valuation much. The agent will have a set list of RX-7s on her computer to choose from and that'll be the end of it...

If you need some kind of official estimate I would look at the Kelly Blue book value.
