IC: Tuning Day in October (Claudio RX7)
I know alot of people are starting to put cars away, but to anyone who still wants to catch the tail end of the season.
I've been talking to Claudio, and he's going to be available to come down to the GTA area between Oct10-23.
He is experienced with Haltech and rx7's, so be nice to get a real tuner who knows what he's doing down here similar to Steve Kan's trip last summer. He has a wealth of knowledge, he's always on the Haltech board here, and on Haltech's own tech support boards.
He's willing to stay for as many days as needed in between Oct10-23.
I was thinking Oct.15 would be best, as it's a saturday.
The price will be roughly 500 per person on the dyno. The more people we have the more likely the price will get better (being able to secure a dyno for a full day etc. etc.)

Ignore my second post. I am unable to edit it. This thing is still fully on.
Claudio lives in the dominican but will be in the states over the next while visiting haltech's office in CA, sevenstock etc.
If you look in the haltech forums, or the haltech forum on this board, he is always on giving others advice, and says he is an experienced rotary tuner.

Hey guys, permit me to introduce my self, im Claudio RX-7 (as THR RX7 in the Haltech board), im from the dominican republic, and this coming october i will be attending the SevenStock8 show in Irvine, California, but Tyler Lang (-TAL-), Sebastian (Jugs), a Gary Byrne (from St. Johns) are interested in me working on their cars.
If you need a little information on my qualifications, i am always on the Haltech official board, and mainly on the Haltech section of this one, also you can check out my website for info on some of my work. I know i am a relatively unknown tuner to the US market, but i can assure you i am more than capable to get your cars properly tuned. I specialize in rotaries, but have work on many other applications, Honda, Toyota, Porsche, Ferrari, and VW/Audi.
I know its tough to trust a total stranger in this business, but i will do my best to meet all of your power demands.
My fees are travel and lodging and 300 labor for each tuning job, if you need an installation and tuning i charge 500 for a full install, if its just a harness revision and reconnections of a few things, 400. Since there is interest with more than a couple of people, you guys can arrange to cover the travel and lodging together to lower costs. I can stay in Ontario from the 10th of october till the 21st tops, because i have to be in seattle for an EFI class.
So, your questions and feedback will be answered as best i can. I also have my own Innovate Wideband, and all i request (when possible) is that you have an EGT gauge. You also cover dyno time if its available.
Thanks for listening. Keep in touch. Oh, just in case, my prices are in US dollars.

The Dyno Session will be held on the 15th. Will most likely be at splitfire performance in brampton, once we know a bit more, i can go ahead and let paul know and get it fully booked.
I've gotten 2 interested parties, but nothing set in stone from them.
I need to know from people for sure, so i can confirm the dyno, and the more peeps / sooner we know, the better prices we can try and work for the dyno etc.

Well, if you can jump on their A$$ and get them to finish it.
You have untill the 15th of oct for the dyno day and from the 10th till the 21st for me to stay in Ontario.
Guys, just in case, if there is a lot of interest in this, i would consider going back to Ontario if needed, and staying more time, but that would mean another air fare and another lodging fee.
But my time is your time.

Ok guys,
Just a quick update. So far the deal is that i have to accuire canadian visa to be able to make this trip. But, the problem is that i cant get the visa here in DR, because it takes a few more days than i had expected. So, im stuck with trying to get it in Los Angeles when im there, but that doesnt give me enough time, but i will do my best.
So far, jugs, TAL and it think 2 more guys are in for the Dyno Day, and jugs wants a system installed. So the trip will basically be from Oct 11th till no later than the 21st, since i have to be back in L.A. on the 21st.
So, please post all your enquires and tell us who is in.

Well looks like due to people backing out on this for the winter there will be no Ontario, Canada trip.
If there is anybody that would want to get something done, they should contact me as soon as possible, since i do need to get Visa to travel to canada.
