Eh what this all aboot! I see the snow falling but there's nothing on the ground damnit! I wanna go snowboarding!!!!

Holy **** eh! i just went out from work w/o my touque. Woot the whole parking lot is white! Eh! i'll be going snowboarding soon ya meatheads!

Already went skiing last weekend (opening day lake louise) it snowed 13cm the night before. They opened the back bowls at 11:00 (paradice bowl) there was boot deep powder!

just noticed everyones from Ontario

cold windy..blowin snow..SMITHS FALLS.ONT..above freezing ..snow that was on the ground melted ..knew that Frank wanted to snowboard..snow disappeared..Lol

Just got home from the funnest bus ride ever.
All the melted snow has now become clear ice on the road, bus was fishtailing everywhere. I love winter!

I think the use of the word BAM is permitted. For example to write the above sentence one would have to write BAM to explain it. The uses of BAM that are more contraversial seem to be where the post contains the BAM written in an extended form like BAAAAAAMMM but without any further clarification. It would seem that a BAAAAAMM has been likened to the action of flaming. Where the BAAAAMM appears alone without any other words it could lead the subsequent readers to feel upset about being BAMMED.

But I think one should feel free to use the word BAM as an adjective in a complete sentence. For example: "The boost kicked in and it was like BAM, hold on to your seats" Clearly no-one could feeled BAMMED by that above sentence. I hope that helps as I have spent many a night in front of the fireplace contemplating BAMMING.

Due to my inherently slacking nature, I’m out of the loop again. For the equally uninformed, “woot” as it is now used, has replaced the ever faithful, “whoop” and other incarnations of that ilk, with such similar meanings as whoopee, yippee, and the oft forgotten, hurrah. Although this came to me as quite a shock, I am quickly getting used to woot’s easy brevity and plosive sound, even practicing this term with some duality, saying, “woot, woot” when speaking to my younger sisters over AIM. I thought woot woot was orginated back in the late eighties early nineties on a talk show hosted by Arsenio Hall. I vaguely remember Mr. Hall calling upon a certain part of his audience referred to as the 'dog pound' to girate there one arm while yelling woot woot.

"The format of The Arsenio Hall Show followed traditional structures set by other late-night talk shows-- entrance and rapport with the band and the studio audience, the host's initial monologue at the center of the stage, interviews with guests (usually two to three) in the sitting area, and a musical number by an invited artist. Hall nevertheless brought some changes (sometimes quite subtle), in order to provide a more informal mood for his show. There was no desk in the sitting area where interviews were conducted, so he could be closer to his guests. Hall did not have a sidekick on the show. The set had an area at the stage left of the band designated as the "dog pound" where a group of guests would sit and cheer Hall with barks ("Woof," "Woof," "Woof!") while moving their right fists in circles above their heads. These more informal elements of the show were attuned with Hall's agenda of providing an alternative kind of entertainment to the traditional late night scene."
