how to install a circulating block heater?

how to install a circulating block heater?

ok so i plan on installing a circulating heater on my 12A but before i go and do anthing i'd like to know which line i have to tie into or if theres a coolant bung i can tap into.

Might have better luck asking in the first gen section. I'd answer, but I have no idea. The only snow my car see is what lands on top of it when I forget to tarp it for the winter.

You might want to consider an even easier solution. Canadian Tire sells (or at least used to) a block heater which is a 110 V AC plug into an adhesive backed heating strip that you stick on the bottom of the 12A oil pan (outside). Very simple and works well.

I know my Rx-4 had a block heater that threaded into the front iron where the coolant drain plug is. It wasn't a circulating system, but I'm sure it would have been effective.

so there is a drain plug good makes things easyer

Canadian tire sells just the metal **** that bolts over the spark plug area comes with instructions and if so simple

i dont trust that heater. yea all i need is a ignition source straped to my engine block. and plus it dosent warm the coolant/oil..

i'll be waiting for my father to get some days off he installed his circulating heater in his car. so ill get him to help
