HKS old school BOV help! Need done for the Sunday Meet!

So I picked an HKS BOV for my car (The old school one) But, I'm having some issues getting it to work. Since it's been installed, the car can't seem to idle. It just dies. I know it's a vacuum issue but I'm not sure what. Is there a specific way it's suppose to be hooked up? I've searched but have yet to come up with a solid answer or picture of what is to be done. Here's a thread for reference of what I'm talking about. I need to get this problem solved otherwise I won't be able to go to the sunday meet.

If anyone has a pic of the setup or knows how to fix this please post! Thank you!

Does your car have a MAF? Is the BOV closed at idle?

The car is completely original minus this bov I just put in. Bwek, which nipple was capped?

and what is the FPR vacuum line? Still learning the acronyms lol.

Thewird- I'm pretty sure it's closed at idle. I was able to get the car running and it idles, but the bov does nothing. So I know I've got something hooked up wrong. I'm almost positive the MAF is still there since the car was bone stock when I bought it.

imthemainevent- If I don't get this fixed I'll pm ya

EDIT: picture is just for reference, this is not my setup. picture was used from referenced thread.

FPR stands for the fuel pressure regulator.

i was having idle issues with my old school hks awhile back as well. it was because there wasn't an o-ring installed that was supposed to be there. I'd suggest checking that.

#1 leave alone don't cap it nothing

#2 hook up to a vacuum source after the throttle body

You could t it into the map sensor vacuum line as well

Super old thread but what is the correct way to hook up the BOV? I can’t seem to find any info on it.
