The job is a few hours but there is some stuff you need.

-full vacuum hose kit
-some fuel injection line
-dual belt alternator pulley
-upper to lower intake gasket set
-bunch of hose clamps, zip ties, etc.
-set of blockoff plates
-cat must be previously removed or you need the appropriate exhaust parts to do it
-vacuum caps

If it is done wrong (ie. the BAC valve is removed for some stupid reason) then it is common to experience problems.

An emissions removal will also require all of the cats to be removed. If you leave the cats, they will clog quickly due to the lack of air pump and the richer mixtures they see.

A "vacuum kit" is just a selection of vacuum hoses. Vibrant sells a kit of popular hose types in silicone that is a convenient way to go about this. The kits are about $50 and include several sizes of hose that you will be requiring.
